About Our Classes
Classes are 45-minutes long and include songs, rhythms, movement, and instrument play. These are informal, non-performance-oriented activities and are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for their caregivers and parents to do regardless of their own musical ability.
Each semester families receive as part of their tuition a CD and digital music download, a songbook, a family sing-along/concert with musicians, two makeup classes, and a musical instrument making workshop where we make a homemade instrument and also talk about the Music Together® philosophy and the importance of music in childhood learning and development. Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters are 8-10 classes long. Summer (when offered) is 3 to 6 classes long.
Tuition for Fall/Winter/Spring is $195 for your first child, $145 for second child/sibling >8mo old, and FREE for your third child or siblings <8mos old.
We are also offer a wonderful GENERATIONS CLASS that is held on Saturdays at 9:10AM at The Village of The Heights retirement community located at 1407 Studewood St. This is a regular mixed-age family class and the residents of The Village of The Heights are invited to join us in making music. You do NOT have to have a family member living at The Village to sign up for this class.
