What makes Music Together® great?
Musical Diversity – each Music Together Collection is created in a way that exposes children to different musical keys, complex rhythms, and improvisation.
Foundation for Formal Instruction – Many people ask “when can my child take _______ (piano, voice, etc.) lessons?”. Music Together gives children the foundation they need for that next step in creating music. They feel melody and rhythm before they move on to more formal music education.
Adult Involvement – Kids are exhausting. I know – my daughter is almost 3 years old and my son almost 2 years old. Music Together classes are a great way to play and bond with your child and take what you do in classes home with you. Remember that children take in everything that we do, and when they see you having fun with music and rhythm, they can’t help but emulate that enthusasm!
Create music together - making music as a group is something our ancestors did all the time, but in today’s modern world we rarely experience. Making music in a group is an intimate and powerful experience. It builds community, children and adults alike learn from others around them, and it provides a type of social interaction not replicated by anything else. There is no judgment, not need for skill – just the need to create something beautiful together. Think back to some of your fondest memories: chances are music was involved and it was with a group of people.
Anyone can do it! - You don’t need any musical training to participate. By simply being fully engaged in classes your children feel safe to experiment as well.
